I remember that! When I was growing up in Seattle, we got a cough syrup called "Terpin Hydrate With Codein." Worked fantastic. When the govt. took it off the market, we drove up to Vancouver, Canada to buy it. And in those days you only needed a drivers license to cross the border, not a passport like today.
