Do you find yourself struggling to focus on tasks? Does your mind, like mine, wander off in different directions, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and frustrated?

If you have ADHD or a short attention span, or if you’re grappling with a multitude of projects, I’ve discovered something that will help significantly. If you’re facing these challenges, this can work wonders.

The Pomodoro Technique, developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s, is a time management method that aims to enhance productivity by breaking work into manageable intervals.

This technique makes me think of that silly question, How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

Here’s how it works: you set a timer for 25 minutes (known as a “Pomodoro”), during which you solely focus on your task at hand. Once the timer rings, you take a short break for 5 minutes, allowing your mind to rest and recharge. After you’ve completed four Pomodoros, you can take a more extended break of up to 30 minutes.
